Private Buyouts FAQ

Practical answers for deciding whether Serana is the right fit.

Can guests stay on property?

Yes. On-site lodging is central to the Serana experience. Executive retreats include private standalone lodging for up to nine guests across six cabins and three Airstreams.

How many people can stay at Serana?

The property can accommodate up to 18 overnight guests.

How many cabins are there?

There are nine cabins: three Kampinas, each with a queen bed; the Field Cabin, with a split king; and five Post Oak cabins, each with a king bed.

What does the kitchen include?

The kitchen includes a commercial refrigerator, two stoves, a microwave, a Fellow coffee maker, and serving ware for up to 20 people.

What common spaces are available?

The property includes a 1,200-square-foot lodge and kitchen, a 1,000-square-foot gym, and a spa with a custom sauna and cold plunge.

How many cabins have their own bathroom?

All five Post Oak cabins have their own private bathroom.

Will we have private access to the spa?

Yes. Just let us know when you plan to use the spa, and we will turn it on for your group.

Can we bring our own private chef?

Yes. You are welcome to bring a private chef. If you would like recommendations, let us know and we will put you in touch with our contacts.

How much does a private buyout cost?

Every event is different. Share the details of your gathering with us, and we will send you a tailored proposal within one to two days.

What equipment is in the gym?

The gym includes a squat rack, kettlebells, two exercise bikes, and an erg.

Is the pool heated?

The pool is not heated by default, but pool heating can be added for $150 per day.

How far is Serana from Austin and Houston?

Serana is about one hour from Austin and one and a half hours from Houston.

What is the payment policy?

A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to reserve your dates. The remaining 50% is due one month before your stay.

Can we change our dates?

Date changes are not guaranteed. Requests are considered at our discretion, and we reserve the right to decline a date change.

Can we change our dates because of weather?

No. We do not allow date changes due to weather.

Do you publish pricing?

Pricing for weddings, executive retreats, private buyouts, and wellness retreats is provided after we learn about the gathering, including dates, group size, and what you need.
